Its responsibilities include assisting with organisational matters and supporting the planning and delivery of national events. By bringing together representatives connected with different JKA Karate clubs and regions, the committee helps strengthen communication and cooperation across JKA/WF Australia.

The National Working Committee currently includes representatives from organisations such as Darwin Shotokan Karate, JKA Townsville, JKA Shotokan Karate Brisbane and Bujutsu Martial Arts and Fitness Centre.
